Customer Review: Little fingers get pinched!
I loved this product . . . at first. My son got this product for his fist birthday and love playing with all the different musical activities. As a music person, I was impressed with the toy’s teaching of concepts like pitch and tempo; however, on a number of occations my son has grabbed hold of the sun at the top of the music book stand and gotten his fingers/hand pinched. The sun doesn’t stop moving and it’s hard to release his skin from there when the incident occurs. After several incidents I have notified the manufacturer. They have noted the problem. If this happens to you, please let them know so that future little fingers will be saved!!
Customer Review: Love it, but it does pinch little fingers!
MY 10-month old loves this toy and plays with it everyday; however, We have the same issue with fingers being pinched. When your child grabs onto the sun’s face or hands their fingers get pinched in the openings as the parts move. Keep an eye on this, as it pinches very hard. I placed my hand over the opening myself to feel how hard it pinches and it even hurts an adult’s fingers.

Fisher Price T.M.X. Tickle Me Elmo Fisher-Price T.M.X. Tickle Me Elmo Elmo has impressive automatic stand up action keeps you going while he continues to giggle and say, “I got tickled”. It has three modes of giggle action - Press its foot or belly and hear “You tickled Elmo.” TI can go from standing to sitting. Then, it falls back, sits and stands straight up again - the whole time giggling away and flapping its right arm. Touch its belly again, and it sits and rolls from one side to the other. It ends up on his back, kicking his legs, flapping his arms and giggling with the words, “You did it again.” It ends his hilarious giggle session by standing up and letting out a deep sigh. This Elmo has a few more phrases: “Again, again,” and “Give Elmo a break, please,” and “I can’t stop laughing”. It require six AA batteries, which are included and it measures 15″H.
Customer Review: Great Toy but unreliable electronics
It stopped working after one year of purchase. First thought it was the batteries but putting new batteries did not do anything. Anyway my 2 year old still likes to hold it and play. So its not a total waste. I just feel sad after the lengths I went to get it at the time!!!
Customer Review: More fun for adults!
My 3 and 4 year old daughters received this for Christmas. I thought they’d love it…and they did for about 4 plays of it. Then it was old news and that has pretty much been the end of it. I think my adult friends have had more fun watching it and giggling along with it. It is not “cuddly” so my girls don’t carry it around much. Once you have seen it go through it’s paces - it is a bit boring and not much “fun” value for the price tag. I think they would have enjoyed a cheaper, plush elmo more.

Fisher Price Puppy Dumbbell Rattle Fisher-Price Puppy Dumbbell Rattle Customer Review: Baby’s favorite toy
My daughter is in love with this rattle. We take it everywhere and attach it to toy links so she doesn’t drop it.
The plastics used to make it are also considered safe (no BPA, PVC or Phthalates), which makes me feel good about giving it to her.
Customer Review: Great
My baby loves this rattle. She likes the noises she can make with as well as all the ways she can chew on it to relieve teething pain.

Fisher Price Apple Teether Fisher-Price Apple Teether Customer Review: Cute teether/toy
I was very pleased when I received this Fisher-Price apple teether. My daughter is a teacher and this seemed like just the right one for her new baby. She loved it and the little one does, too. It’s very colorful and big enough to be a toy as well as a teether. It also clips on so it is easy to take along. A good buy!
Customer Review: good toy for teething
I thought the apple part of this toy was softer. It is a hard plastic as well as the leaves. I removed the ring on the top and my daughter likes to chew on the leaves, as they are textured. She only holds on to it for a few minutes and moves on to something softer or chewier. It may also be a bit too heavy for her as she’s only four months. Will be better for her in a few more monthes.

Customer Review: What a wonderful toy!
My daughter just received this for her 5th birthday. She’s a huge music lover, and this was just up her alley. Let’s just say she’s been attached to it every since she received it.
The software was easy and quick to install. Loading music from a cd (can’t load from a computer to the music library, it has to come from a cd) is a simple process. We also took advantage of purchasing a few stories from the website so she’s got some of her favorites for bed time. We have a dial up connection and still were able to download stories which was nice. :)
The FP3 is so simple for kids to figure out how to operate without a lot of help needed from mom,dad or whomever. One option I loved was that I was able to assign an icon for each song I loaded on to her player. This was a great feature considering she’s not reading quite yet and this helps her id the song before she has to hear it play. I also love that the volume can’t go too high either, so I don’t have to worry about her hurting her ears. She’s enjoyed going to bed with her FP3 player on and listening to bed time stories. It also has an auto-shutoff so the batteries won’t continue to drain while she sleeps.
Either way - it’s got simple features, yet is built to last, and is just such a fun and fantastic gift for the music and/or story lover in your child. It looks like her two year old sister just might be getting one for her birthday in the near future as well! (It really is a great gift for any kid!) I just can’t say enough wonderful things about the simplicity of it and the sturdy design. Fisher Price got it so right this time!!!
Customer Review: Not so kid tough
We bought this for our 5 year old 2 months ago for her birthday. We bought a 1 GB SD card for it so that she could put tons of music on it. As far as the software goes, we didn’t find it to be that painful since we had read the reviews knew what to expect. She loved the player and especially the speakers that we bought separately. She played it every night to fall asleep and carried the player in the speakers everywhere with her. Now it’s been only two months and the player hardly works. We have replaced the batteries twice to thinking that would solve the problems but it didn’t. A few days ago it froze and I had to unscrew the battery compartment to get it to turn off. Only the forward button works, so if she wants to change songs, she can only go forwards through all the songs. Also, the play button seems to be very fragile. It seems to play the preloaded songs (all 6 of them!) and she really likes the stories, but the ones that we loaded ourselves either don’t play at all or they stop playing in the middle with a loud popping noise. I know she is disappointed, and so am I. She has stopped listening to it altogether. I bought this player brand new from a seller on Ebay (lesson learned) so now I am out of luck. I was hoping that Fisher Price would have some techincal support on their website with some updated drivers or something, but no. I am disappointed in this product. It’s a great concept, but needs some improvements. With all the technology available today and the price, it seems like it could be so much better. On their website it says that this product has been discontinued in 2007. How come my 2GB Ipod shuffle works without a glitch and I paid close to the same price? Maybe Fisher Price just needs to stick to what they know.

Fisher Price Imaginext Adventures Castle Fisher Price Imaginext Adventures Castle Imagine a medieval castle filled with excitement and adventure at every turn! Secret passages, revolving walls, stairs that “magically” appear–and you make it all happen! Just place the king or one of his knights on the action stones throughout the castle and turn. You’ll unlock a new adventure every time you play! Ages 3 and up.
Customer Review: Love this preschooler-friendly castle!
My 2.5 y/o boy loves all things knights, so I searched for a long time to find a play castle he’d like. I really liked the Playmobil products, but there were waaaaaaay too many tiny pieces that he couldn’t manipulate and of course there’s always the risk of a choking hazard. I liked the wooden castles but was leary of their durability and they just seemed so plain.
