My newphew loved this toy. I was afraid he was too old for it, but my 2 year old picked it up and loved it. The music is soothing and the lights are a great color.

Our son is only 3 1/2 months old, but he loves to watch the lights and hear the sounds this toy makes. I sit him in front of me and drop in a fish and he giggles. He’s learning to hold the fish (and shake them and suck on them) too, so he likes to play independently.

I think the Planet Heroes toys are a great concept. At a time when the interest level in science and space exploration is at a low, it’s things like these that spark a new generations imagination to dream. The “Professor Darkness” toy is the villain, fittingly portrayed in the toy series’ pantheon as the black hole. My son loves the light-up action, and the fact that it comes with two sidekicks “Photon” and “Neutron” (he has renamed them “Banana” and “Lime”, thus erasing the vocabulary enhancement of learning the names of subatomic particles).

Customer Review: Great little distraction…
My two-year old has had this since she was one. She still flips through it a fair bit, and enjoys hearing bits of the rhymes, although she hasn’t developed the patience to really follow the words with the printed text. That’s why I would rate it as being a very fun toy but of limited educational value until the child is probably 2.5 or 3 yrs old. Great value though.

I bought this toy for my daughter’s first birthday. She opened it and instantly wanted it out of the box to play with.
She’s a big fan of books and anything that plays music, so the two together are a big hit. She absolutely loves this toy!
The educational number/alphabet/color buttons are ones she doesn’t quite understand yet, but it’ll come eventually.

This Elmo toy is cute but it is hard, not cuddly. It is a little frightening to a sensitive child also. The voice is pretty garbled and hard to understand, so I don’t think there is much educational value. and it is expensive for a stuffed doll, that is really ugly if you don’t know what Elmo is… those bulging eyes..yuck.

I bought this toy for my three year old daughter, She LOVES Elmo. I thought it was so0o cute and concidering shes in that “I want to take care of my baby” stage, I thought a baby Elmo, awesome! But when she opened it and started to play, I thought it would do and say more then it does. Im glad I didnt pay the 22.00 theyre charging in the stores or Id be really upset.

My 20 month old son received this for Christmas and he would sleep in it if we would allow him! He thought it was “Daddy’s truck” and couldn’t wait for us to take him outside for a test drive! I thought it was easy for him to steer, but the concept of when to turn the wheel will take practice. Overall, I would recommend this product…very affordable and well-made.
Customer Review: Got our moneys worth
We bought this for our son when he was only 2 and although he didnt know how to steer it or use reverse we are glad we went with the bigger truck because now that he is 3 1/2 it fits him perfect. It has held up well and believe me he uses it ALL the time. We have 3 batteries that we alternate on the charger so he always has a fresh one. We have over an acre of land that he loves to explore. The truck is so beat up from him being rough on it but it still runs and he still loves driving it. Well worth the money we spent.
