Customer Review: Ok for young toddlers but won’t grow with them
I have 3 kids. They are ages 4,2, and 8mo. This toy is way too short and unrealistic for my 4yr. old. My 2yr. plays with the buttons and rotating part but only occasionally. She would rather play with my real vaccum than pretend with this one. My 8mo. loves it for the bright colors. Having 3 kids, I always look for toys that will grow with them. This one is a big disappointment. Its too small and doesn’t promote creative play. I can get a Leap Frog toy that will do the same things as this one does for learning. I wish I had purchased the Fun and Magic Vac from Toys R Us for $19.99. Its much larger, solid construction, has beads in the center that move when its pushed, and makes a slight sound when moved.

This is not worth the money. My daughter played with it for a day and that was it… it is not much fun at all. Not many features to play with.

Our baby loves playing with his toys on this mat — I bought it for its compact size since our living room is fairly small. It’s just right at this point since he’s not yet rolling over. However, I realized that the small size means he doesn’t have room to attempt rolling over either. So I’ll be buying a larger one he can use for the coming months. But we’re enjoying it now! Finally, Mom and Dad can actually eat a meal without holding baby, since he’ll lay and play with his toys!

I purchased this from Amazon, it arrived in two days! My grandson who is 33 days old just loves it! I put him on his back on his bobby pillow (Leach) also purchased through Amazon. Joshua looked at the toys hanging and right away smiled and swung at the toys…. making the cuttest baby noises. This was the sweetest experience and for such a young guy it kept him intertained for a good 10-15 minutes his first time using it. I think he will get a lot of use out of this and many happy smiles.

I hear the title of this review at LEAST twenty times a day. My son is in love with the Backyardigans and I couldn’t be happier at that fact. Great cartoon and great doll. The song is cute. The doll is soft. Good stuff! It would be a welcome gift to any child that “FEELS GOOD” and loves the Backyardigans.

Customer Review: This is the worst toy!
Thankfully, this was a gift, only because I did not pay any money for this toy. I’m not sure what you do with this toy, but I wish I could just throw it away. The child turns the dial to a specific animal. Then you talk into the back of the toy. The toy is to “interpret/translate” your childs voice to the selected animal, so that it sounds like your child is talking to the animals. He picks up this toy about once every six months and plays with it for a total of 30 seconds, literally.
Customer Review: A Mother’s peace….. GONE….
Ok… not that a mother actually HAS peace, but this toy… though cute and my son ADORES it… has GOT to be one of the most obnoxious(in a good way) toys ever! lol.. It’s SO cool how it works, but wowie!! Animal noises can wear on the nerves after awhile. But my son loooves playing with it and enjoys making my 4 month laugh with all the animal noises. It really is a cool toy…. just not one for a home that you like to be “quiet”! Great quality, cool idea, and lots of fun!
